Theo elected to seek to correct societal ills through his exhibitions, works, human and environmental/youths rights activism. He decided to create his own career/s-un-ltd by simply following his dreams, which morphs ….’.

Iyk is the president/chairperson of AYFT South Africa. He was born in June 24, 1975. A Civil Engineer by profession and a graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka from the department of Civil Engineer.

Prince is the Chairman of AYFT, a high social entrepreneur and a philanthropist as well. He is a vibrant Chief Executive of Ifex worldwide courier and manages many other businesses.
Emeka has been thick and thin with AYFT and many other non -profit / community based organization in Nigeria.

Vincent is the organization secretary and also a legal practitioner. He graduated from the University of Lagos, Lagos state in 1999 with a second class honors in LLM and and in 2000 graduated from the Nigerian Law school with an BL. He joined the organization in 2003 after having acquired vast experience from other firms he worked for before joining us.

He is the project officer 1 of AYFT, a graduate of Gov/Public Administration, Abia state university. Alphosus has been thick and thin in all AYFT activities/projects with the young people. He has attended both local and International conferences on Human/Youth rights activism.

Amobi Eric

Eric has been with AYFT since 2002 as a volunteer youth worker and now represents AYFT as the Community Coordinator.
He has been in the social work since 1997 as a student, were he was a member of AIESEC – an international students organization – until his graduation. Eric has represented AYFT in several trainings and workshops which he has also extended such trainings to the organization.
He was part of the World Bank Institute – Debate To Action (DTA) – Capacity building on Nigerian Youth Organizations in 2004. He also represented AYFT at the British Council for a workshop on Public Speaking and Networking by InterAction International Communication.
He has been a great influence in so many AYFT projects like Good Governance project in 2003, 2nd international conference on Democracy and political participation. He is currently working on Capacity Development projects that will create sustainable platforms that will enable youths and young people compete through gender balance. He has a wealth of development experience working with companies in Nigeria and currently holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom.

MiyMiy is a graduate of Soil Sciences from Abia State University, Currently, Head women commission/outreach office (AYFT). She was formerly Admin Manager Marbyte Nigeria Limited, Member All Nigerian – United Nations Students and youth association (ANUNSA) Executive council, Project assistant - Eminently green initiative project June – Dec 2003. She is a member of British Council youth sponsored Local Government election monitoring team 2004 , member Organizing committee All Nigerian Youth Conference (ANY-CONFERENCE Abuja 2004), team member Youth Banking –project on going, AYFT outreach coordinator for Building partnerships for good governance in Nig - ongoing project.

Ebele Amobi

 Ebele is a graduate of Industrial Physics from University of Benin, Benin city Nigeria. She also possess a diploma in Computer Programming, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and an MBA (Management Technology) from Lagos State University. Her work experience spans around the IT and NGO environments. Feb.1999-Mar. 2000 during her NYSC days , she worked at the accounts section of Setraco Nigeria Limited, Auchi, March 2000-Sept.2001 Business Development Coordinator/ Webmaster for Neilson Marcus Nig. Ltd (IT Consulting firm), Jan. 2002 –Jan 2004   Head IT dept / Webmaster for The Human Rights Law Services. Ebele joined AYFT in 1999 and her work and commitment in the organization has gain her a lot of goodwill. Presently she is the Head ICT / Administrative officer for the organization and she also manages and maintains the input in the AYFT website.   

Michael Dimkpagu
Media Relations

Mike is a member of the board of trustees of AYFT as well as the editor of the newsletter. He belongs to other non- govemental organizations such as Civic Education Foundation, CRAC and Umunna bu Ike, Ngwa, a community based organization.
He holds a first degree in History and a post - graduate diploma in Mass Communication, and belongs to a couple of professional bodies. Currently, he works as a personnel manager in a marine engineering company based in Lagos. Besides, he is a creative writer and has a couple of works awaiting publication. His hobbies include reading writing novels, football and traveling.

Lionel is a French national, studying law at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (Brest, France). His experience transcends internship within the NGO section at UN ECOSOC work in New York, Intern at the City of Toronto, office of Councillor Adam Giambrone, and sharing ideas through his tours around Africa and the world at large.

Clara is a Canadian student at the University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts and Sciences and Wharton School of Business, where she is majoring in International Studies and French and concentrating in Business and Public Policy. She met Theo at the World Youth Centre in 2004 and is excited to be part of the YouthBank project. Clara is currently busy revising the business plan, coordinating a market survey, and recruiting advisors and board members for the Youthbank team.
